Abu Dhabi joins the race

The United Arab Emirates capital, Abu Dhabi, has been included in the 2011-12 race route. A racing team from Abu Dhabi will also be on the start line in Alicante, Spain in the autumn of next year.

Galway to stage 2011-12 finale

Galway has been selected as the finish port for the 2011-12 race. The Irish port, the stopover for the transatlantic leg in the previous edition, saw off strong opposition from rival cities in the port bidding process.

I den forløbne måned har Aktivgruppen været involveret sammen med Team Danmark arbejdsgruppen, landstræner Rigo de Nijs og jeg selv. Det har været en intensiv og spændende periode, som også har resulteret i, at Rigo, jeg og Team Danmark arbejdsgruppen er helt enige i det resultat, som nu foreligger.
